Rather than having to completely expose an old pipe, remove it, and install a new one, we can sometimes line the old pipe with a special material that expands and sets in place, creating a new layer of pipe beneath the old and damaged one. Pipes that have minor cracks and damage usually benefit from a simple epoxy lining process. When more extensive damage is present, cured-in-place lining is something we will suggest. A resin liner inserts into the old pipe. It cures, creating a brand-new surface on the interior of your old pipe. The curing process requires the use of steam, UV light, or hot water. Curing can occur within an hour for hot water or steam curing, whereas liners that cure naturally may require a few days or longer before they function normally again.
